KIRA is expanding its financial platform beyond insurance into spending, saving, and investing across Southeast Asia. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability required for handling real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver features that are auditable, secure, and trusted. The role demands deep technical understanding of distributed systems and regulatory constraints in fintech.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, insurance, or trading
- Proven judgment in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation methods
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering background or highly technical product experience
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
