KIRA is expanding its financial platform beyond insurance into spending, saving, and investing. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory requirements of handling real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and design teams to deliver trusted financial tools. The position requires strong technical judgment to determine where AI adds value versus where deterministic systems are necessary.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, and security
- Balance correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, monitoring, and privacy requirements
- Apply AI with safeguards and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage launches involving regulatory and third-party dependencies
- Align engineering, compliance, and operations teams
What you'll need
- 5+ years managing complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture and APIs
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers
- Background in payments, banking, or regulated fintech
- Ability to make trade-offs under regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products
- Strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech products
- Defining evaluation frameworks for ML products
