BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to build an AI Neobank Superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. This role leads a product vertical from strategy to launch, ensuring reliability and regulatory adherence in high-consequence financial products.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver trusted financial tools. The team values deterministic systems where appropriate and applies AI only when it genuinely improves outcomes.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation metrics
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Ability to review and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech domains
- Skill in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, knowing when not to use them
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
