BJAK is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI neobank superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely improves outcomes.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to ship trusted financial products. The role demands a balance of technical depth, product judgment, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes in a distributed global team.
What you'll do
- Own a product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, compliance, and operations around product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs and reviews
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or other regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
