KIRA is expanding its financial platform beyond insurance into spending, saving, and trading with an AI-native approach. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing technical design, regulatory compliance, and user experience.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to build reliable financial tools. The focus is on applying AI where it genuinely improves outcomes while maintaining strict control over deterministic systems and financial accuracy.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design regarding APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or regulated domains
- Strong judgment for making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation methods
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering background or highly technical product management experience
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
