KIRA is expanding its financial tools beyond insurance into spending, saving, and investing across Asia. This role focuses on building next-generation products that leverage AI to help users manage money with greater ease and self-reliance.
You will define product strategy, collaborate closely with engineering on system boundaries, and navigate complex regulatory constraints. The team values decisive leadership and technical depth in high-consequence domains.
What you'll do
- Own product verticals including outcomes, metrics, and prioritized backlogs
- Shape technical design regarding system boundaries and money-movement correctness
- Make trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience
- Treat regulated constraints like KYC and data residency as primary product inputs
- Define AI decision boundaries and evaluation methods for LLM-based features
- Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations teams
What you'll need
- Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong system design knowledge including APIs, datastores, and failure modes
- Experience in regulated domains such as payments, banking, or insurance
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and evaluation frameworks
- Ability to read and challenge technical design documents effectively
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Background as an engineer or highly technical product manager
- Experience shipping zero-to-one AI-heavy consumer products
- Defined evaluation metrics for machine learning systems
- Experience in the Southeast Asia market
