You will own a product vertical end-to-end, managing outcomes, metrics, and a value-prioritized backlog. Working closely with engineering, you will shape technical designs for money movement, security, and scalability while treating regulatory constraints as core product inputs.
The role requires making trade-offs between correctness, speed, and UX, and defining how AI is applied, evaluated, and kept within safe boundaries. You will collaborate across Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations to ship features that clear external regulatory and partner gates.
What you'll do
- Own vertical outcomes, metrics, and prioritized backlog
- Shape technical design for system boundaries and money movement
- Ensure idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation, and security
- Make trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, and UX
- Treat licensing, KYC, and data residency as product inputs
- Define AI decision boundaries, evaluation, and human loops
- Ship features behind flags pending regulatory clearance
- Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, and Operations
What you'll need
- Experience owning complex technical products end-to-end
- Strong judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity
- Solid system design knowledge including APIs and datastores
- Comfort reviewing and challenging technical design docs
- Experience in regulated domains like payments or banking
- Understanding of money movement correctness and risks
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based products
- Ability to frame features as evaluable with clear metrics
- Strong English communication skills for global teams
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical PM background
- Experience building zero-to-one products
- Shipped AI-heavy consumer products
- Defined evaluation metrics for ML or LLM systems
- Intuition for AI UX and failure handling
- Experience in the Southeast Asia market
