You will design user experiences for software used in national security contexts, ensuring systems remain usable under operational stress. Working with product and engineering teams, you will validate designs through research with warfighters and mission operators while adhering to strict government accreditation standards.
What you'll do
- Drive prompt-to-prototype workflows using Claude Design and Claude Code
- Partner with engineering to build and refine interactive prototypes
- Own end-to-end UX for deployment and accreditation workflows
- Translate compliance requirements into intuitive user journeys
- Conduct user research via interviews, testing, and surveys
- Maintain and scale the design system for consistency
- Champion user-centered design principles across the product lifecycle
What you'll need
- 3+ years as Product, UX, or UI Designer for complex web apps
- Proficiency with Claude Design, Claude Code, and Figma
- Experience working with AI-assisted engineering teams in agile settings
- Portfolio demonstrating simplification of complex technical workflows
- Strong skills in information architecture and interaction design
- Familiarity with ATO, FedRAMP, or NIST 800-53 frameworks
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements
