You will own the user experience for ActAI's core app across iOS, Android, and web platforms. The focus is on creating clear, reliable, and controllable interfaces for AI-assisted tasks, ensuring users understand system behavior and maintain trust throughout complex workflows.
What you'll do
- Own UX design for core app surfaces on iOS, Android, and web
- Design end-to-end flows for AI task completion and error recovery
- Visualize AI states such as thinking, acting, waiting, and failing
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and ML teams on requirements
- Conduct usability research to identify trust and engagement issues
- Produce wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Contribute to the design system and shared UX patterns
What you'll need
- Experience as a UX designer for consumer mobile or web apps
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user flow and prototyping skills
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframing and high-fidelity design
- Ability to design for asynchronous and non-deterministic systems
- Understanding of user trust and transparency in AI products
- Experience conducting user research and applying findings
- Comfortable working in fast-moving teams with evolving scope
