You will define the technology and data roadmap for Atlas, a value-based oncology care provider. This position requires balancing executive strategy with immediate technical execution, including building data pipelines and managing security operations.
Reporting to the President, you will lead cross-functional teams and partner with oncology practices to implement AI-driven tools. You will also handle vendor management and serve as the primary technical face for clients and the board.
What you'll do
- Develop short and long-term technology and data roadmaps
- Architect data warehouse and reporting infrastructure
- Design data feeds for value-based care operations
- Code and deploy ETL/ELT data pipelines directly
- Lead IT, security, data engineering, and help desk teams
- Manage daily technology issues and vendor escalations
- Champion technology vision to partners and the board
- Support implementation for new payer and provider clients
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years in healthcare IT, Data, or Product leadership
- Competency as data engineer and warehouse administrator
- History of prior healthcare deployments
- Fluency with modern AI solutions
- Experience with product strategy and build-versus-buy decisions
- Expertise in managing and contracting technology vendors
- Proficient in Excel analysis and PowerPoint dashboards
Nice to have
- Experience in a high growth startup
- Background in outpatient value-based care
- Familiarity with Claude CODE CLI or IDE Extension
