Join Mento’s engineering team to develop a unique AI and software coaching platform. You will work closely with design and coaching experts to translate human insights into scalable AI agents and product experiences.
This position focuses on building features from scratch, designing adaptable AI capabilities, and creating robust data integrations. You will also mentor the team on data and AI best practices within a collaborative, remote-first culture.
What you'll do
- Build new product features from concept to launch with regular shipping cycles
- Design scalable AI capabilities using foundational models for adaptability and reuse
- Translate coaching workflows into high-quality AI agent experiences
- Develop scalable pipelines and integrations for data import and export
- Educate the team on data and AI best practices through mentorship and code reviews
What you'll need
- Experience shipping data-related products to production with real users
- Proficiency in dynamic languages and server-side web applications
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and traditional stacks like Rails or Laravel
- Understanding of data engineering concepts, search indexes, and pipeline design
- Comfortable integrating LLM-based coding tools into daily development workflow
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment
