You will develop the native Android experience for BJAK, focusing on insurance, payments, and financial services. The team aims to simplify complex user journeys while ensuring high performance and reliability for millions of users in Southeast Asia.
This position requires strong ownership of product quality, from initial feature development to monitoring production issues. You will collaborate with product and design teams to deliver secure and stable mobile applications.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin
- Create clean flows for insurance and payments
- Simplify complex user journeys with design team
- Integrate backend APIs for stable mobile flows
- Improve app performance and memory usage
- Use analytics to enhance product quality
- Implement AI-assisted features where useful
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and shipped production apps
- Knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
- Experience with modern Android architecture
- Strong sense of mobile UX and usability
- Experience integrating REST APIs
- Strong English communication skills
