You will join BJAK's engineering team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven financial platform. The work focuses on creating reliable, fast, and user-friendly flows for insurance, payments, and savings products used by customers across Southeast Asia.
The team values product quality and clean architecture, aiming to simplify complex financial journeys through thoughtful mobile design and robust technical implementation.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals in shipping production-grade mobile apps
- Proficiency with Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- High ownership mindset with attention to product quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
