Join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven finance platform. You will focus on building reliable, high-performance features for insurance, payments, and savings, ensuring complex financial journeys feel simple for users across Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin and modern architecture
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals in shipping production-grade mobile apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and Android architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- High ownership mindset with attention to product quality
- Based in Sweden with strong English communication skills
