You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven finance platform. The work focuses on delivering reliable mobile features for insurance, payments, and investments, ensuring high performance and seamless user journeys for customers in Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs to ensure stable and secure mobile operations
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong grasp of Android fundamentals and shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- Ability to execute quickly while maintaining code quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
