You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven financial platform. The work focuses on creating reliable, fast, and user-friendly flows for insurance, payments, and savings, ensuring complex financial tasks feel simple for millions of users in Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin
- Design clean flows for insurance and payments
- Simplify complex user journeys with product teams
- Integrate backend APIs for stable mobile experiences
- Optimize app performance, memory usage and crash rates
- Use analytics to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they add value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and production app experience
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines and Flow
- Deep understanding of mobile UX and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging
- High ownership and attention to product quality
- Based in Ireland with strong English skills
Nice to have
- Portfolio of shipped work or GitHub examples
- Experience with TensorFlow Lite
- Background in financial or insurance products
