You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven finance platform. Your focus will be on shipping reliable features for insurance, payments, and savings while ensuring smooth user journeys and robust performance.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin
- Create clean flows for insurance and payments
- Simplify complex user journeys with design teams
- Integrate backend APIs for stable mobile experiences
- Optimize app performance, memory usage and crash rates
- Use analytics to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted features where they add value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and production app experience
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines and Flow
- Solid understanding of modern Android architecture
- Strong sense of mobile UX and usability
- Experience integrating REST APIs
- Ability to debug production issues effectively
- High ownership and attention to product quality
Nice to have
- Portfolio of shipped work or GitHub examples
- Experience with App Links
