You will join BJAK, a leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, to help expand their financial services offerings. The team focuses on building an AI Finance Agent that helps users plan, save, and grow their money through a mobile-first approach.
Your primary responsibility is to ship reliable, high-performance Android features using Kotlin. You will collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex financial journeys, ensuring stability, security, and a seamless user experience for real customers.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to improve the product
- Implement AI-assisted experiences where they add genuine value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and experience shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
- High ownership, fast execution, and attention to quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration

- Portfolio with app links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
