You will join BJAK, a leading insurance and fintech platform in Southeast Asia, to develop the Android application for their new AI Finance Agent. The team focuses on simplifying complex financial journeys like insurance, payments, and investing through high-performance mobile features.
The role requires building reliable, secure, and fast Android experiences that integrate with backend APIs and leverage on-device AI where it adds genuine value. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to ensure high quality and smooth user interactions.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and crash rates
- Use analytics and production data to improve the product
- Implement AI-assisted features where they enhance user experience
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and history of shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging issues
- High ownership and attention to product quality
- Strong English communication skills
