You will join BJAK's global team to develop the Android application for their AI-driven financial platform. The work focuses on creating reliable, fast, and user-friendly flows for insurance, payments, and savings products.
The team values clean code, strong ownership, and a deep understanding of user journeys. You will collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex financial tasks for millions of users in Southeast Asia.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for the AI Finance Agent
- Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability, security, and reliability
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and loading states
- Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
- Implement AI-assisted experiences where they add genuine value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and history of shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Deep understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
- Must be currently based in Singapore
Nice to have
- Portfolio with App links, GitHub repos, or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference
- Background in financial or insurance technology products
