Join Cognition as one of the first Applied AI Engineers to operationalize AI modernization for enterprise clients. You will move beyond demonstrations to deploy Devin directly into engineering workflows, ensuring measurable productivity gains and irreversible adoption.
This position requires blending strong engineering fundamentals with customer-facing skills. You will shape the function by turning individual engagements into repeatable playbooks and enablement models that scale globally.
What you'll do
- Embed with enterprise engineering teams to drive deep adoption of Devin
- Architect and implement agentic workflows across engineering and product
- Lead interactive programs such as live workshops and pair programming
- Guide customers through installing, configuring, and optimizing tools
- Pair-program on production problems to demonstrate high-value usage
- Track productivity metrics and surface ROI stories for business cases
- Scale field learnings into structured playbooks and best practices
- Create enablement materials based on direct customer learnings
What you'll need
- Degree in STEM or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years in software engineering or technical consulting roles
- Strong coding proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly
- Track record of driving technical adoption and measurable impact
- Strong commercial instincts to grow accounts through engagement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt exceptionally fast
Nice to have
- Experience leading developer enablement or platform adoption
- Deployed LLM or agent-based systems in production settings
- Background in early-stage startups requiring autonomy and speed
- Ability to point to before/after metrics from past initiatives
