Join the Experiments team at Constructor, where you will develop the platform that powers traffic allocation, exposure logging, and statistical analysis for A/B testing. This backend-focused position involves building reliable services that handle production traffic for major ecommerce clients, ensuring experiments are fast, accurate, and easy to interpret.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain backend services for experiment assignment and logging
- Enhance scalability and reliability of experiment reporting pipelines
- Develop UI features to help users launch and interpret experiments
- Drive technical execution and shape solutions for complex projects
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation for issue investigation
What you'll need
- Strong experience owning production backend services in Python
- Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and debugging user-facing systems
- Advanced SQL skills for working with metrics and analytics data
- Ability to ship maintainable software through tests and code reviews
- Capacity to turn ambiguous problems into executable technical plans
Nice to have
- Experience with experimentation systems or A/B testing workflows
- Familiarity with PySpark and/or Databricks
- Strong backend fundamentals with ability to learn data domains
