Join Clipbook as a founding engineer to help reinvent how leaders engage with global information. You will work on a platform that processes news, audio, and video data in real time to surface actionable insights.
You will collaborate with a small engineering team to develop features that ship quickly to over 200 clients, including major consulting firms and government agencies. The role offers significant ownership over technical decisions and system architecture.
What you'll do
- Architect and build core systems while owning feature development end-to-end
- Integrate LLMs and ML models into production workflows such as RAG pipelines
- Design scalable systems that balance immediate needs with future tenfold growth
- Develop robust APIs and internal services ensuring reliability and security
- Drive key technical decisions across the entire technology stack
What you'll need
- At least three years of experience building and scaling production systems
- Strong backend fundamentals including services and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP and tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to ship features quickly
Nice to have
- Depth in Data Engineering with Spark, Kafka, Flink, or BigQuery
- Expertise in Distributed Systems focusing on high-volume scaling
- Experience with AI/ML including fine-tuning and inference optimization
- Backend proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
