Join Supabase as a Developer Relations Engineer to help developers discover and build with their Postgres development platform. You will produce high-impact video and written content, ship real-world applications, and represent the company across various communities and events.
This position bridges the gap between the engineering team and the broader ecosystem, ensuring users feel connected and supported. While the company is fully remote, this specific role requires a base in New York for local engagement and video production.
What you'll do
- Produce compelling technical content, particularly video tutorials, to aid developer learning
- Build and ship real-world applications using Supabase, Next.js, React, and Stripe
- Write guides and documentation that users can easily follow and remix
- Represent Supabase at meetups, livestreams, and within the developer ecosystem
- Engage with the community by answering questions and highlighting user projects
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to amplify launches and reduce friction
What you'll need
- Strong engineering skills in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks
- Proficiency with Postgres and database concepts
- Experience creating technical content in written or video formats
- Comfortable representing a product publicly on camera, on stage, or online
- Ability to work self-directed and contribute to open source projects
- Based in New York to support in-person video shoots and local events
Nice to have
- Growing audience on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, or Twitter
- Prior experience in Developer Relations or open source contributions
