You will own the consumer platform that transforms claimants into engaged members, driving case discovery and referrals. This greenfield product area requires building community surfaces, educational tools, and trust systems while recruiting and leading the engineering team.
What you'll do
- Expand the variety of case types available for users to discover and join
- Develop community features for discussing and rallying around potential cases
- Create educational resources to help users understand claim processes
- Implement referral mechanisms to turn members into a distribution channel
- Manage trust and safety, including moderation and fraud prevention
- Contribute to shared platform foundations and internal tooling
- Recruit, vet, and manage the engineering team
What you'll need
- Staff-level experience building and shipping production software
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end product outcomes
- Strong product instincts with ability to make autonomous decisions
- Experience in early-stage startups (Series A or earlier)
- Ready to hire and lead engineers from day one
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Go, and AWS
Nice to have
- Background in regulated industries like legal, healthcare, or finance
- Experience with consumer engagement or growth-loop products
- Knowledge of trust and safety or content moderation at scale
