You will lead the Developer Infrastructure team within the Platform organization, treating internal tools as a product. Your focus is on shaping how engineers build, test, and ship software by improving CI/CD, observability, and local development environments.
This leadership role requires balancing people management with technical contribution. You will define roadmaps, guide architectural decisions, and partner with other teams to enhance reliability and productivity across the software lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow a team focused on developer infrastructure and platform tooling
- Own technical strategy and execution for the developer platform
- Guide architecture decisions and contribute code or debugging when needed
- Partner with engineering leaders to identify friction points and deliver improvements
- Establish processes that improve velocity, quality, and operational readiness
- Recruit and develop talent through coaching and continuous feedback
What you'll need
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing engineering teams
- Experience building developer platforms, CI/CD systems, or observability tools
- Strong understanding of developer workflows and application architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern observability
- Ability to translate internal customer needs into scalable technical solutions
- Track record of leading teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments
