Join k-ID as a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between their compliance platform and client systems. You will design and maintain integrations for game engines and web applications, ensuring seamless age verification across European markets.
This position requires strong full-stack skills and serves as the primary technical contact for customers in the region. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to resolve complex issues and deliver robust solutions.
What you'll do
- Act as main technical contact for European clients during local hours
- Design and deploy integration solutions for client systems
- Build connections across game engines, mobile apps, and web platforms
- Create technical documentation, guides, and code samples
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
- Troubleshoot complex issues to ensure high service availability
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Five or more years in software development and systems integration
- Fluency in English is required
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#, C++, or Java
- Experience with RESTful APIs and webhook integrations
- Strong knowledge of NextJS, React, and modern web frameworks
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
Nice to have
- Eight or more years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of digital identity, security, and cryptography
- Experience with facial age estimation or ID verification methods
- Hands-on native mobile app development skills
- Familiarity with COPPA, GDPR-K, and youth privacy frameworks
- Proficiency in additional European languages
