You will own features from data modeling to user interface, ensuring a seamless experience for founders applying for capital. While you will work across the entire stack, you are expected to have a home base in either backend or frontend development and act as the subject matter expert in that area.
The team focuses on assessing business growth potential quickly and delivering funds efficiently. You will collaborate with product and design teams to ship high-quality solutions that balance technical excellence with business needs.
What you'll do
- Own features end-to-end from API design to UI implementation
- Serve as the go-to expert for your backend or frontend specialism
- Design backend services using Python and Django
- Build reusable frontend components with TypeScript and React
- Write clean, testable code with strong coverage across the stack
- Participate in code reviews to improve solution quality
- Monitor production systems for reliability and security
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django or similar frameworks
- Working proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of Git and version control
- Excellent communication skills for non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- Advanced proficiency in modern frontend architectures
- Experience with state management like TanStack Query
- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions
- Background in fintech or B2B financial services
- Knowledge of security best practices and data protection
