The role requires close collaboration with engineering and research teams to integrate infrastructure with product features. You will focus on high availability, low latency, and cost-effectiveness while implementing robust security measures and automation tools.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure for high availability and low latency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate infrastructure with product features
- Act as subject matter expert for infrastructure in new product designs
- Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and monitoring
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities
- Analyze performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design or consulting
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, Bash, Go, or Ruby
Nice to have
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Familiarity with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
