You will lead a collaborative team of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers while remaining an active individual contributor. The focus is on establishing agentic coding practices, maintaining architectural standards, and scaling the global coaching platform.
This position requires balancing strategic alignment with product teams and direct code involvement. You will help define engineering culture and introduce AI-driven workflows to accelerate development and improve quality.
What you'll do
- Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers through active guidance
- Write clean code and orchestrate AI agents as an individual contributor
- Introduce agentic coding practices and help the team adopt them effectively
- Maintain rigorous architectural standards and ensure high code quality
- Collaborate closely with Product, Data, DevOps, and QA counterparts
- Design and build custom AI-native tools for internal business efficiency
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience with strong architectural foundations
- Daily use of AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor in professional workflows
- Recent experience in a fast-growing scale-up environment
- Deep production-level expertise with TypeScript and JavaScript across the stack
- Proficiency with React, Node.js, NestJS, and Next.js frameworks
- At least 2 years of formal engineering leadership while staying hands-on with code
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
