You will guide a group of engineers within the Aktiv team, fostering a collaborative environment while overseeing the delivery of software solutions. Your focus includes balancing strategic initiatives with technical debt management and partnering with Product and Design teams to define roadmaps.
What you'll do
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers in a collaborative environment
- Provide continuous feedback and conduct regular one-on-one meetings
- Lead strategic initiatives and manage resource allocation
- Partner with Product and Design to prioritize backlogs and roadmaps
- Foster improvements in code quality, architecture, and processes
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate decision-making within the team
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or 7+ years industry experience
- Proven track record leading software engineering teams
- Experience shipping web and mobile products at scale
- Prior hands-on software engineering experience with Java or React
- Ability to decompose complex business problems into technical plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
