  • AI & Agent Engineering
  • TypeScript & Python
  • EU data residency

Join the AI Platform team at bunch to transition AI capabilities from experimental to relied-upon infrastructure. You will design agents that automate complex fund operations, such as document parsing and capital call reconciliation, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing services and authorization models.

The role requires owning the full lifecycle of AI applications, including orchestration, evaluation, and production monitoring. You will establish patterns for other engineering teams, focusing on accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency while maintaining strict EU data residency compliance.

What you'll do

  • Design and ship agents that automate fund-operations workflows from prototype to production.
  • Build evaluation layers with real-data test cases, regression suites, and human review processes.
  • Own AI application architecture including orchestration, memory, context engineering, and guardrails.
  • Manage production rollout with feature flags, rate limits, provider fallback, and observability.
  • Consolidate document parsing and shared evaluation tools into a platform for other teams.
  • Mentor engineers across the company on agent design and LLM best practices.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience building production software with end-to-end ownership.
  • Deep expertise in agent orchestration, tool contracts, memory, and RAG or multi-agent design.
  • Experience integrating agents into real products with authorization models, not just prototypes.
  • Ability to measure non-deterministic systems through test cases and regression suites.
  • Proficiency in reading traces, diagnosing failures, and tuning cost and latency.
  • Strong backend development skills in TypeScript and/or Python.
  • Platform mindset focused on building standards and tools for other engineers.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, private markets, or regulated document-heavy domains.
  • Familiarity with working under EU data-residency constraints.
