You will serve as the technical owner for systems supporting product planning, engineering execution, and portfolio management. Working with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams, you will translate business processes into scalable configurations and integrations.
The goal is to reduce friction in tooling, improve visibility, and ensure reliable data for leadership decision-making. You will evaluate current tools and implement solutions that enhance governance and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Own technical administration of Jira, Aha!, and related platforms
- Design scalable workflows, schemas, automations, and dashboards
- Build integrations using APIs and webhooks to reduce manual work
- Define and enforce standards for data quality and governance
- Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into system designs
- Create documentation and train users on platform best practices
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and recommend tooling changes
What you'll need
- 7+ years in business systems engineering or platform administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Atlassian products
- Experience supporting product management and engineering delivery tools
- Proficiency in configuring workflows, permissions, and reporting
- Understanding of software delivery processes like Agile and Scrum
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, and enterprise application architecture
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Aha! Roadmaps or similar tools
- Familiarity with Jira Align, Productboard, or Asana
- Atlassian certifications or advanced administration experience
- Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Groovy
- Background in SaaS, fintech, or regulated technology environments
- Experience with engineering capacity planning or capitalization
