Valence is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to build and lead the infrastructure platform for its AI coaching product used by Fortune 500 companies. You will manage the entire infrastructure landscape, supporting application and AI teams while driving security, deployment, and cloud architecture initiatives.
What you'll do
- Own and architect the entire AWS infrastructure and identify improvement areas
- Design scalable platforms enabling seamless deployments across multiple teams
- Lead security initiatives including SIEM, EDR, automated scanning, and backups
- Manage infrastructure costs while ensuring high availability and performance
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and maintain Ansible setups
- Create autoscaling solutions for webinars and ML data processing pipelines
- Establish network architecture, firewall configurations, and routing protocols
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various application teams
- Collaborate with the AI team on infrastructure for data and ML pipelines
What you'll need
- 7+ years of DevOps experience, preferably in scaling B2B SaaS companies
- Proven experience building infrastructure platforms for multiple development teams
- Strong expertise in AWS services and general infrastructure management
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code implementation
- Proficiency in network management, firewalls, routing, and security protocols
- Strong coding skills in Python and Shell/Bash scripting
- Experience with enterprise security processes and procurement for large clients
- Background in implementing security infrastructure like SIEM, EDR, or XDR
- Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and handle diverse needs
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management
- Coding experience in Go, PHP, or Ruby
