This position offers the chance to collaborate with a global team of publishing professionals in a fully remote environment based in Europe.
What you'll do
- Develop high quality, responsive, and mobile-friendly Vue.js applications
- Create amazing interactions and data visualizations for users
- Collaborate closely with Back-end engineers and UI designers
- Bridge the gap between server and client by consuming RESTful APIs
- Write comprehensive unit and functional tests
What you'll need
- Professional experience building applications with Vue.js
- Firm understanding of writing maintainable and scalable CSS with Sass
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript programming
- Experience with component-based front-end UI libraries
- Understanding of MVC pattern and object oriented concepts
- Experience with version control using Git and GitHub
- Familiarity with agile development processes
- Exceptional communication skills
Nice to have
- A good dose of ambition and a great sense of humour
- Striving for pixel perfection in design implementation
- Experience optimizing JavaScript applications for performance
- UX skills and design sensibility
- Knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, Ruby, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with Desktop Frameworks like Electron or iOS development
