Join the team expanding ClickHouse’s cloud data platform by connecting Postgres with ClickHouse for modern workloads. You will own the reliability, automation, and operations of this service as it scales globally across multiple cloud providers.
This hands-on position requires writing code, shaping architecture, and enabling engineering teams to deliver with confidence. You will focus on creating a fast, secure, and dependable customer experience through rigorous operational practices.
What you'll do
- Lead reliability and operations for Postgres integration, including upgrades and scaling
- Design automation for provisioning and service lifecycle across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and modern CI/CD tooling
- Build Go-based tooling to improve automation and developer experience
- Own observability and monitoring with robust alerting and tracing
- Drive incident management and postmortem practices to strengthen reliability
- Collaborate with platform and product teams to improve service operability
- Mentor engineers to help the team scale effectively
What you'll need
- 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
- Track record of running distributed, production-grade systems
- Solid understanding of Postgres operations, scaling, and performance tuning
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS and exposure to GCP and Azure
- Proficient with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container-based infrastructure
- Strong Go development skills or willingness to write production Go code
- Familiar with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
- Deep understanding of SLOs and incident response
