Join ClickHouse to lead the operational side of their expanding cloud data platform, specifically focusing on the Postgres integration. You will design automation, ensure system reliability, and write Go code to support global scaling across multiple cloud providers.
This position places you at the center of platform evolution, requiring hands-on work with infrastructure-as-code and incident management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service operability while mentoring other engineers.
What you'll do
- Lead reliability operations for Postgres integration including upgrades and scaling
- Design automation for provisioning and deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CI/CD tooling
- Build Go-based services to enhance automation and observability
- Manage monitoring, alerting, and tracing across all environments
- Drive incident management and postmortem processes to improve reliability
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with platform and product teams
What you'll need
- 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
- Strong understanding of Postgres operations and performance tuning
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS and exposure to GCP or Azure
- Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container infrastructure
- Strong Go development skills or willingness to write production Go code
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or OpenTelemetry
- Solid grasp of SLOs, incident response, and service reliability
