TELUS Digital seeks a Senior Manager to lead architectural discovery and solution design for data and AI engagements. You will connect pre-sales efforts with project delivery, ensuring technical solutions align with client business goals.
The position involves guiding teams on scalable data pipelines, machine learning architectures, and MLOps frameworks. You will act as a subject matter expert while supporting both prospective and active client accounts.
What you'll do
- Lead scoping and technical design during the pre-sales process
- Articulate data and AI capabilities to prospective clients
- Design scalable data pipelines and ML model architectures
- Define MLOps frameworks for client projects
- Provide estimates for team composition and resource planning
- Offer architectural guidance to existing project teams
- Own a technology vertical within the Data and AI space
What you'll need
- Deep experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
- Proficiency with cloud-native AI/ML services like AWS Bedrock
- Strong background in AWS, Azure, or GCP deployments
- Knowledge of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing
- Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience in software estimation and work planning
- Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Background in agency or client-service environments
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Agentic AI systems or Large Language Models
- Experience with real-time analytics implementations
- Familiarity with advanced deep learning methodologies
