Join Mondoo's engineering team to enhance the platform's policy engine, resource management, and multi-region capabilities. You will help teams assess and remediate security findings while building scalable infrastructure foundations.
This position offers hands-on experience with policy-as-code frameworks and cutting-edge cloud technologies. You will collaborate closely with other teams to integrate infrastructure seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
What you'll do
- Build and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Automate system configurations with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Integrate infrastructure components with CI/CD pipelines
- Translate security requirements into policy-as-code implementations
- Review vulnerability reports submitted by external users
- Gather evidence for compliance audits
- Scale automated security controls across Kubernetes and cloud environments
What you'll need
- Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in configuration management such as Ansible or Puppet
- Solid understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP core services
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Knowledge of networking basics including TCP/IP and DNS
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborative teamwork
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Open Policy Agent or Sentinel frameworks
- Knowledge of compliance standards like CIS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001
- Exposure to cloud-native security tools and services
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms
- Interest in learning security best practices and frameworks
