Qualytics seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to act as a technical bridge between their platform and customer data ecosystems. You will design, implement, and optimize data quality solutions, writing production code and architecting integrations that fit seamlessly into existing infrastructure.
This role combines hands-on technical work with customer-facing responsibilities. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping enterprises maximize value from the Qualytics platform through custom connectors, monitoring solutions, and pipeline integrations.
What you'll do
- Partner with customers to understand data architecture and business objectives
- Design and implement custom integration solutions using Python and RESTful APIs
- Develop out-of-band monitoring solutions for comprehensive data quality oversight
- Build in-band pipeline integrations using tools like DBT and Airflow
- Architect hybrid and cloud-native solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Write production-quality Python code for custom connectors and transformations
- Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for customer teams
- Represent Qualytics at industry conferences and technical forums
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering or customer-facing technical roles
- Advanced Python development skills with experience building production data solutions
- Broad experience with modern data engineering tools such as DBT and Airflow
- Proficiency with RESTful API design, integration, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with multiple relational datastores like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with cloud-based and hybrid data solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proven track record of successful customer engagements and relationship building
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts
Nice to have
- Experience with multiple programming languages such as Scala, Java, or Go
- Previous experience with data quality, observability, or monitoring platforms
- Experience with real-time data processing and streaming architectures
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Background in technical consulting or professional services
- Cloud platform certifications or data engineering credentials
- Active participation in open source data engineering projects
