Join Juniper Square as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer II to help scale infrastructure during a period of significant engineering growth. You will take ownership of reliability and observability for your team's systems while working hands-on with Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires partnering with over sixteen engineering teams to roll out standards and automation that reduce friction across the organization.
What you'll do
- Own reliability and observability including SLAs, SLOs, instrumentation, and on-call health
- Design and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure using Helm, EKS, or ECS
- Manage core AWS services such as RDS, Aurora Postgres, networking, and scaling
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and Argo
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and Crossplane
- Partner with multiple engineering teams to roll out new tools and processes
- Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response for cross-team issues
- Use AI tools daily to enhance coding, debugging, and design workflows
What you'll need
- 8-10 years of experience as a Senior SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer
- Background in high-growth SaaS companies from Series A through D stages
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and Helm or Argo
- Real database experience with Postgres and DocumentDB on RDS or Aurora
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration and timeline management
- Active use of AI tools in daily coding, debugging, and design tasks
Nice to have
- Experience with Crossplane for infrastructure management
- Familiarity with Datadog for monitoring and observability
