You will architect and scale the platform that automates reservations, guest communication, pricing, and operations for property managers. Working closely with founders, you will build customer-facing products and AI workflows that help operators grow without increasing manual workload.
The team focuses on solving complex operational problems through event-driven architectures and robust integrations. You will own projects end-to-end, from technical design to deployment, ensuring reliability and performance as the platform expands globally.
What you'll do
- Design scalable applications and APIs for reservations, pricing, and payments
- Build event-driven workflows to automate cleaning schedules and guest instructions
- Develop AI-powered systems using LLMs for communication and maintenance triage
- Create robust APIs connecting internal services with third-party providers
- Maintain integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Stripe, and Twilio
- Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure for global reliability
- Solve real-time synchronization challenges for availability and bookings
- Own projects from architecture and implementation to deployment
What you'll need
- Strong experience building and owning production-grade software systems
- Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React, or similar frameworks
- Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture
- Experience designing scalable backend systems and reliable data models
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with a product mindset
- Curiosity about AI, automation, and operational efficiency
- Bias toward action, shipping, and learning from real users
Nice to have
- Experience in short-term rentals or hospitality technology
- Background with multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of marketplace businesses and booking channel integrations
