Curri provides on-demand last-mile logistics for national retailers and industrial suppliers. As a Product Engineer, you will own engineering problems end-to-end, from scoping solutions with stakeholders to shipping production code. You will work in weekly loops, leveraging AI agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining high architectural standards.
What you'll do
- Own engineering problems from stakeholder discussion to production deployment
- Ship multiple surfaces per quarter in weekly development loops
- Build backend services and UIs using TypeScript, Node, and React
- Use AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor for design and coding tasks
- Make scalable architectural decisions and improve existing systems
- Gather context directly from PMs, ops teams, drivers, and customers
What you'll need
- 6+ years of experience building production software
- Comfortable defining work scope without detailed specifications
- Full-stack proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, and NATS
- Experience with React for customer-facing or internal interfaces
- Fluency with AI-paired delivery tools like Claude Code or Cursor
- Ability to reason about system scale, reliability, latency, and cost
- Proactive communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders
Nice to have
- Recent production experience using Claude Code or similar agents
- Background in small-team or startup environments with informal specs
- Ownership of measurable metrics like latency, reliability, or cycle time
- Experience mentoring engineers on product engineering or AI practices
