Join a team dedicated to improving modern coding agents by evaluating their interactions. You will assess whether AI outputs reflect strong engineering taste, useful reasoning, and high-quality guidance for developers.
What you'll do
- Evaluate end-to-end AI-generated coding interactions
- Judge output usefulness and alignment with engineer thinking
- Assess quality of explanations and reasoning processes
- Distinguish between different levels of response quality
- Provide clear written feedback on interaction strengths
- Help define standards for great AI tool usage
What you'll need
- Senior, Staff, or Principal-level engineering experience
- Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
- Hands-on experience with Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
- Ability to evaluate code without executing every line
- Strong written and spoken English (B2 or above)
- Comfortable giving direct and opinionated feedback
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to prompt design or evaluation workflows
- Experience mentoring senior engineers
- Background in defining engineering standards
