Join Restream as a Backend Engineer to solve complex technical challenges while building world-class products for live video streaming. You will design new services, improve system reliability, and contribute to the rapid scaling of the platform.

What you'll do
- Develop and maintain features for Restream web services
- Design and implement backend APIs and business logic
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive feedback
- Monitor emerging technologies to identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure redundancy and resilience of production infrastructure
What you'll need
- Expert proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language
- High proficiency in relational and NoSQL database design (Scylla, Redis)
- Experience creating, testing, and supporting APIs for web services
- Comfortable with AWS, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with continuous deployment workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed with ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic front-end development skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Node.js (TypeScript) or Rust
