You will shape technical direction across teams while staying close to the code and systems. What you'll do
- Own backend problems spanning multiple services or product domains
- Define system boundaries and architectural direction
- Lead technical decisions by clarifying risks and trade-offs
- Enhance performance, resilience, and data integrity in production
- Solve recurring structural issues rather than temporary symptoms
- Stay hands-on for implementation, diagnosis, or prototyping
- Mentor senior engineers and improve code review quality
- Collaborate with leaders on technical investment and risk
