Join the Consumer team at Kraken to shape the app experience for millions of traders. You will build and iterate on web and mobile interfaces that help users buy, sell, and manage crypto assets.
The team works globally with a focus on measurable outcomes and frontend craft. You will partner with Product and Design to deliver high-quality features across platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain consumer features for web and mobile apps
- Own product lifecycle from discovery to production monitoring
- Drive A/B testing strategies and iterate based on data
- Partner with cross-functional teams for coherent user experiences
- Make technical decisions on framework and architecture choices
- Mentor engineers and uphold high code quality standards
- Lead complex cross-platform initiatives across web and mobile
- Integrate AI tools into the software development lifecycle
What you'll need
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and React ecosystem
- Production experience with React Native and mobile releases
- Experience with Next.js App Router and Server Components
- Hands-on work with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Knowledge of WebSockets or Server-Sent Events for real-time UI
- Strong testing culture using Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
- Familiarity with modern build tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or high-trust consumer products
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Active use of AI-assisted development workflows
