Join a team reinventing trading and investing for over 6 million clients. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will shape the architecture of a shared monorepo spanning web and mobile platforms. You will drive technical direction through code ownership and cross-team collaboration rather than management.
What you'll do
- Set frontend architecture direction for React and React Native
- Solve cross-team issues in shared libraries and tooling
- Lead decisions on state management and data flow
- Diagnose and fix systemic performance and rendering problems
- Remain hands-on with coding and prototyping
- Mentor senior engineers and improve code review quality
- Partner with product and backend teams on technical risks
What you'll need
- Proven architectural impact across multiple frontend teams
- Deep experience with React or React Native and TypeScript
- Strong judgement in application boundaries and state management
- Track record of improving developer effectiveness and reliability
- Experience diagnosing performance issues in web or mobile systems
- Ability to influence technical direction through execution
- Clear communication skills for complex technical decisions
