You will define the mobile architecture strategy, primarily for iOS, ensuring scalability and performance across the company's application suite. Working onsite in Lisbon, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape the long-term evolution of the mobile ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Define and lead mobile architecture strategy for scalability and maintainability
- Focus on iOS architecture, libraries, and platform-specific patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product goals
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and performance guidelines
- Lead architectural reviews and guide refactoring efforts
- Design reusable APIs, SDKs, and modular components
- Mentor mobile engineers to elevate team technical proficiency
What you'll need
- 6+ years of mobile development experience with strong architectural mindset
- Deep expertise in iOS development using Swift
- Solid understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and modern iOS frameworks
- Experience with app performance optimization and offline-first strategies
- Strong knowledge of App Store submission and mobile security guidelines
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Ability to explain architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Objective-C
- Familiarity with Android development using Kotlin or Java
- Experience with design patterns such as MVVM or VIPER
