This role emphasizes practical AI integration, where engineers direct and review AI agents to handle implementation tasks. You will own features from design to production, ensuring safety and trust while managing sensitive financial data.
What you'll do
- Own data-heavy features from design through to production deployment
- Scale data models, pipelines, and multi-tenant systems for growing traffic
- Monitor production environments and resolve root causes of issues
- Guide technical decisions and improve internal AI agent workflows
- Collaborate on product features using React when necessary
What you'll need
- Five or more years of experience building and scaling production software
- Strong backend skills in a typed language with API integration experience
- Proficiency in relational data modeling and production data systems
- Proven judgment in handling sensitive data and high-impact changes
- Hands-on experience using and reviewing AI coding tools
- Clear written communication and ability to own work end-to-end
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript and Postgres databases
- Familiarity with serverless AWS architectures
- Background in event-driven system design
- Knowledge of Terraform or AWS CDK
